EHR integration

A connection between the AI agent and a clinical record system (Epic, Athena, NexHealth, eClinicalWorks) that allows the agent to read patient history and write back into the practice schedule.

EHR, electronic health record, integration is the table-stakes feature for any clinical AI. Without it, the agent is talking in a vacuum: it cannot recognize a returning patient, cannot check the practitioner's real schedule, cannot write the appointment back.

Useful EHR integration goes beyond reading. The agent needs to write the booking, the cancellation, the intake note. It needs to apply the practice's real constraints (provider not in on Wednesdays, new-patient slots only Tuesday morning) without being told to in every call.

The compliance bar is real. Any vendor working with EHR data needs a signed BAA, retention policy, and the ability to redact PII on request. These are solved problems for a vendor that takes them seriously, and a non-starter for one that doesn't.

How Vorel does this

Vorel integrates natively with Epic, Athena, NexHealth, eClinicalWorks, and other EHR / PMS platforms, under a signed BAA.

The next call doesn’t have to go to voicemail.
